Im November wird das erste allein von Robotern gespielte Album erscheinen. Verantwortlich für das avantgardistische Konzept, ist der Medienkünstler, Musikwissenschaftler und Robotik-Ingenieur Moritz Simon Geist. Schon seit längerer Zeit bastelt Geist an futuristischen Instrumenten wie Tripods One, Soft Manipulator oder dem überdimensionalen MR-808 Interactive Drumcomputer. Mit Robotic Electronic Music kreierte Geist nun konsequenterweise ein Debütalbum, dessen Klänge gänzlich auf Robotern basieren. Purer Techno, wenn man so möchte.
